2021 Annual Report
On behalf of the Board of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services, I’m proud to share our 2021 Annual Report to the Community. Throughout this publication, you’ll find noteworthy highlights from the services we provide; financial data showing how we funded our priorities; and several stories that demonstrate how our work impacts families in Hamilton County.
Our Board plays an important role in the ongoing operations and long-term strategy of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services by providing both oversight and accountability. This ensures people we support receive the highest quality of services possible while also positioning our agency to grow and improve services long into the future.
The Annual Report to the Community is an essential part of our organization’s short- and long-term planning process. While our Annual Plan and Strategic Plan set goals and look to the future, the Annual Report allows us to reflect on our progress. This helps us understand what has worked, what can be improved, and the best way to move forward.
2021 was an eventful year full of both challenges and achievements. The Annual Report is an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and the enormous value of our work in the previous year. Our Board is proud of our success as we continue to improve services and support for people with disabilities in Hamilton County.
We’re thankful for the dedicated employees of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services, as well as the families, providers, community partners, and all of the other stakeholders who share in the commitment to our mission.
