Throughout 2019 we continued to provide the highest quality services to people we support and their families while also being responsible with the funds entrusted to us by taxpayers. An extensive review in 2019 by MCM CPAs & Advisors and the Hamilton County Tax Levy Review Committee found our agency to be “good stewards” of tax dollars who “provide notable service, at the best cost, with the maximum impact.” Voters agreed and 76% approved the renewal of our funding. We continue to improve the quality of our work, including through mandatory civil treatment training for all HCDDS employees, as well as quarterly training for supervisors. As part of our commitment to quality services, we worked with other county boards of DD to promote recruitment of direct support professionals so providers would have the staff necessary to offer high-quality services to people in their communities.
